There are products that every kitchen must have – knives, pots, pans… but what about when you are ready to upgrade your kitchen beyond just the basics? Let me introduce you to the KitchenAid Corded Immersion Blender.
The KitchenAid Corded Immersion Blender is a fantastic addition to your kitchen arsenal. It can blend soups and stews in a few seconds with barely any mess. I don’t find the cord to be a hassle at all.
We have tested this immersion blender in our home kitchen for a year now and have determined that it is well worth the price. Let’s get into our review.
Why do you need an Immersion Blender?
You might be inclined to push off this purchase, since you already have a blender, right? But let me tell you, this little thing will change your blending game. I have all but put my other blending devices to rest, since this thing can do almost everything with a quarter of the mess.
Immersion blenders can blend soups and sauces right in the pan, and this particular corded immersion blender comes with a blending cup if you don’t want to blend in the pan or want to cut down on any potential splashing.
I would highly recommend considering adding this to your kitchen toolkit.
Why should I buy the KitchenAid Corded Immersion Blender?
There are many reason to choose the KitchenAid Corded Immersion Blender over non-KitchenAid blenders. KitchenAid is the gold standard for appliances. As for how this blenders stacks up against its cordless counterpart, it is a great choice! For half the price, you can get the same benefits, as long as you have an outlet nearby. No big deal!
Powerful and sharp
This blender blends things in just a few seconds. I am always surprised at its efficiency. The benefit of a handheld blender is that you can move the blender up and down to make sure that you are fully homogenizing your mix. No more starting and stopping your blender to hand-mix the ingredients!
Not bulky
This thing doesn’t take up nearly as much space as a countertop blender or even a personal blender. I store it in its cup to make sure the blade is not in a dangerous spot and you’re good to go.
Easy to clean
This is the easiest kitchen appliance I own to clean. Just detach it from its base, rinse with some soap and water, and you’re done. So incredibly easy.
Versatile
Immersion blenders can do more the just blend! They can also serve as mixers. I have used mine to make whipped cream and you can even make mayonnaise with them. Yum. Nothing is better than multiple uses in your kitchen tools.
Has the KitchenAid Corded Immersion Blender stood the test of time?
I have tested this immersion blender for over a year and it is still blending just as well as when I first purchased it. I have full faith that it will be with me for years to come. The motor has not weakened, the blades are still scarily sharp, and the plastic has no nicks or stains.
Final Thoughts
We at SpatulaMart would highly recommend this immersion blender. We feel that unless you don’t have a good amount of outlets in your kitchen, there is no need to get the cordless version. We are absolutely in love with this tool. So go check it out!
